Product Information

All products sold on Binderi's webshop are handmade books. More detailed descriptions can be found on specific pages for each book on the webshop. 

Payment terms

Prices of each sold products are mentioned on the product's page on the webshop, and they do not include value-added tax (VAT). As of 22.8.2025, when ordering products, a flat postage fee of 10 € will be added for each order, irrespective of how many products said order contains.

Shipping and handling

Currently Binderi is only shipping to continental Finland. Ordered products will be send as a Posti -package within 2-3 days from confirmation of payment. The customer will be sent an email confirming the shipping along with a tracking code.

Binderi cannot affect the delivery times of Posti, but typically packages will arrive between 3 and 7 working days from shipment.

Returns and the right of cancellation

Purchaser of the product has a right based on Finnish Consumer protection laws to cancel the purchase within 14 days of receipt. If the purchaser finds the product unsatisfactory, they can return the product by mail to Binderi and receive a full refund. The purchaser is responsible for shipping costs related to returning the product. For returns and cancellations of orders, please send mail to info@binderi.fi.

The right to return and cancel orders only applies to unused products. For example, calendars and notebooks with markings will be deemed used and unreturnable and therefore not eligible for refunds.

Contract between Binderi and the customer begins when the customer orders and pays for a product or products from the Binderi's webshop, or other written agreement by email.

The customer accepts the terms and conditions detailed in this document when making a order through Binderi's webshop.

Usage of personal information

Binderi collects personal information for concluding trade between the seller and the customer and for archieval purposes of the webshop. Information requested when ordering will not be used for any other reasons than those related to fullfilment of the order or to clarify uncertainties thereof. The information will not be used for marketing purposes. All personal information is confidential. The information is password protected, and will only be handled by the manager of the registry. The information will be released to third parties only for legal reasons, such as customers own request or that of the authorities. The customer has a right to request their information from the registry and it's removal from the registry by informing the keeper of the registry by mail at info@binderi.fi. Further information regarding the handling of personal information is detailed on the Privacy policy -page.

Force Majeure

Binderi is not responsible for delays or other issues, which arise from reasons or causes unrelated to Binderi itself. These reasons and causes include (but not limited to) for example, a strike or other stoppage of work, a fire, an accident, issues with electrical network or information networks, service provider's or employees' sudden illness, actions of authorities, or other cause, which is not within the abilities and influences of Binderi and effects of which cannot reasonably be mitigated.

Translation of Binderi's terms and conditions

This document is a translation of the Finnish version ('Käyttöehdot'), and if there are any discrepancies between Finnish and English versions, the Finnish version will be the one used.
